Thanks for posting this, I'm always amazed about how enthusiastic people are about that musical, and it really hasn't seemed to die down (I haven't seen it). Maybe the way those two always seemed so nice has contributed to the way they're seen by so many people. That show's typically able to supply a laugh even on the darkest of days. It's impressive. And I'd say a lot of times, those 'outrageous' positions aren't all that far from actual, real world opinions.
